Drew Taylor, MSc, PhD
Dr. Drew Taylor is a visionary in regenerative medicine, committed to making advanced, personalized healthcare solutions widely accessible. As the co-founder of Acorn Biolabs in 2017, he has spearheaded innovation in stem cell banking and regenerative health. Before Acorn, Dr. Taylor served as Chief Science Officer at Epic Capital Management, engaging with the biotech start-up ecosystem, and contributed to groundbreaking research with the Bioengineering of Skeletal Tissues Team at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Taylor earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He also pursued a successful career as a professional pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Philadelphia Phillies, blending the discipline of sports with the innovation of science.
